more Sherlock Holmes squee, except this time, ABOUT RDJ & JW.
Seriously, I love these guys. And they love each other. WHICH MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER. THEIR REAL LIFE BROMANCE MAKES ME DIE. PROOF? *POINTS BELOW TO HIGHLIGHTED LINES* *talking about why it was so great working with Guy RItchie as director* Robert Downey Jr.: First of all he [Guy Ritchie] would, (to Jude) while he was calling you Hotson, (back to interviewers) ‘You all right Hotsie?’ after every take. (Interviewers ask, “Why Hotson?”) Because he’s a hot Watson. Then sometimes he’d come in and tell me my hair looked like I was about to be in a Vegas show act and we had to fix it, that he would not allow me to look that ridiculous on camera, and often times he would congratulate both of us on finally being able to deliver some sort of performance approaching heterosexual. *general talk about the movie* Jude Law: What surprised me was, when I took the job, having fallen madly in love with Robert Downey, who’s a delicious man, both in private and in the workplace, blahblahblahsomething about how closely details in the movie resembled the books, etc etc.
Them being best friends makes my life beyond belief. |

robert downey jr? yes. jude law? yes. EPIC BROMANCE? INDUBITABLY.
Home from Sherlock Holmes. Seriously, if anyone ever wants to cheer me up: fic, gifs or art of the EPIC BROMANCE OF HOLMES/WATSON WILL BE QUITE ENOUGH. That shit made me so happy and I geeked out like hell during the movie. Will probably read some Holmes tonight then :D Also, chilled with Chris and Brennan which I haven't done in forever. We had dinner and gossiped and then went to Brennan's house and ate cookies and Yule Log cake and played Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart and then went to Sherlock Holmes (!) with his little brother and I almost RUINED my new suede boots because it was pouring and muddy but they're okay now and *DEEP BREATH* I'm so happy! :D It's so the little things. I think if someone said something nice to me once a day, I would never be unhappy. At least, I wish it was that easy. Love you all very much, by the way. Remember that when things get harder. Whether we talk all the time or not at all, I think you're all indescribably fabulous. |

there's no place like home. (yeah, i said it.)
Kev always accuses me of being dramatic and he's so right. But fuck, if it doesn't feel good to be home. I feel like I could do anything, just because I'm in my own living room, curled up in a blanket, next to the fireplace. I have six weeks to do whatever I want, Christmas is coming and everything is alright in my world. I had a ridiculously delicious dinner compared to what I've been eating over the past months, my house smells like Christmas and it doesn't even matter what time I get up. I have literally nothing to worry about right now. God, it's been so long since I've felt like that. That's not to say I don't love Harvard - I do. I've been happier there than I've been in my life. But there is seriously nothing like being home. I don't even have enough words to explain why. |

i tried to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly
Survived finals somehow. Heading home tomorrow. It may be a shit internet connection, but it's fucking home. I have missed real food so badly. Also? CHRISTMAS. I'll miss it here definitely but I don't think there are words to describe how happy I will be to have a full-size shower. Haha, I shared presents with my roomies tonight. One, Lisapanda, got me "Mahalia Mouse Goes to College" which is a children's book written by John Lithgow about a little mouse that attends Harvard College. And then my other roomie, Adrianna, got me Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. These girls know me far too well already. :D Current Music: Don't Rain On My Parade - Amber of Glee |
