sports day at colgate
it was fucking awesome. terrence (RAC) walked up and down the hall ways blowing this whistle. i opened the door and he blew on it and was like go get your t-shirts for sports day.
so i get my shirt and team color and we head out to the fields and we wait for the other school to get there. the schools:
Casanovia
Cornell
Hamilton
Utica
Hobart and William Smith
Lamoyne
i think thats it. we did different bonding events, and did a few sports. i was neon green a and my team won first place in the first two events, kick ball and basketball. the balloon toss we won second. anyway heading back to the tents it starts to pour and we all start being ridiculous and we starting throwing cold water and icecubes at eachother. Aurelious tell us that the tug of war has been moved to standford (an athletic building) so amber, kellen, and i decide to walk over there. i mean we're already drenched.
i kept walking over to people asking them if they wanted hugs from me...everyone declined. i wonder why. on our way to standford we saw the water balloons from the balloon toss amber and i started throwing them at one another and kellen. it was mad fun. anyway neon green made it to the championship and we lost in the second to last round of playing. the orange team won first place. w/e it was hella fun and i think i strained a couple muscles in my back and i have a few bruises all up and down my arms.
after that we ran home to change. 50 girls and 12 showers not cool. so we took off and showered and went down to dinner, then the we had the talent show. someone from lamoyne started to get loud with will and the next thing we know the whole school has gone into song and they're chanting "yall fake" over and over again. i was pretty pissed. thats so fucking immature.
the dance party was awesomeness on a bun!!!!!! at first it was awkward cuz there were some tasteless dancers but slowly the floor cleared up as the schools left. at the end it was colgate and a few other people and the RACs (most of them anyway) were grinding and dancing with all of us. it was FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!! it helped relieve a lot of stress and i got closer to a lot of them. it was just really chill.
now i have a research paper, a shit load of reading, and some other silly assignments so i'm gonna get on that. peace!
